Comcast-Charter Merger Is ‘Tough to Get Done’

The merger rumors started flying after the nation’s two largest cable TV companies, Comcast (CMCSA) and Charter Communications (CHTR), announced a wireless partnership in May. Hang on, says Telecom and Media Policy analyst Paul Glenchur. The Obama administration staffers that opposed the Comcast-Time Warner Cable deal are still in office making a deal “tough to get done,” says Glenchur.

Glenchur says there could be silver lining down the road that leads to more competition, making it easier for deals of this kind to get done. Watch the video above for more.
