  • Industrial Recession: “We had an industrial recession. US Industrial growth peaked in 2014, the stocks got hammered. The people who were long them were in the fetal position,” McCullough says. “And now it’s trying to bake in that you’re going to come out of the red.”
  • Federal Government Debt Sustainability?: “Incomes are growing and rates are going up because the growth algorithm has changed. If that’s sustainable then rates aren’t really the issue that most investors think they are,” Dale sales.
  • Portfolio Sizing & Timing: “Your longs should always be larger than your shorts because of the market’s natural tendency to go up,” McCullough says.
