Global equity markets peaked on June 3, 2015. Since then, $8.6 trillion has been erased in global market value. Here's a look at select equity markets and drawdowns from their 2015 peaks:

  • Euro Stoxx 600: -20.8% (since 4/15/2015)
  • Nikkei 225: -19.0% (since 6/24/2015)
  • Russell 2000: -10.4% (since 6/23/15)
  • Shanghai Comp: -39.5% (since 6/12/2015)
