In the telecom and media business, publically-traded companies and politicians largely side with one another along sector and party lines, says Senior Policy Telecom analyst Paul Glenchur.
- Republicans favor network providers like Comcast (CMSA), Charter (CHTR), AT&T (T) and Verizon (V)
- Democrats favor Silicon Valley types like Google (GOOG), Facebook (FB) and Netflix (NFLX).
