McCullough: The ‘Recession Mongers’ Have Been Dead Wrong

03/25/25 12:45PM EDT

“The recession mongers of Twitter have been dead wrong since October,” Hedgeye CEO Keith McCullough posted on X Tuesday morning.

On “The Macro Show,” Keith expanded on that thought, warning investors not to follow perma-bears or perma-bulls pushing narratives to sell newsletters.

“They’ve been bearish for years,” McCullough said.

“We were bearish from July to September, bullish from October to January, and bearish from February to now. We’re the only firm with a consistent track record of nailing every Quad 4 — which doesn’t have to mean recession, by the way.”
