Crypto Pumpers Sucked In The 'Retail Investor' Again
Investors who went "irresponsibly long" on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies—chasing all-time highs hyped by Michael Saylor and Anthony Scaramucci—are now facing drawdowns as steep as 80% in some ETFs.
In this clip from “The Macro Show,” Hedgeye CEO Keith McCullough calls out the lack of integrity and transparency from so-called experts handing out financial advice.
"Retail investors think what’s happened to stocks since the pandemic is normal. They think buying a 2x bull in MSTU or TSLL is normal. It’s not," McCullough says.
"These guys are just outright pumpers when things are going up. There’s no risk management, no belief in gravity."
