HCA has been a Best Idea long since April of 2022. We added it after the first big post-COVID break, and immediately got tattooed with another problem quarter. But we've stuck with it as a great way to play delayed care, something not all investors believe in, and been rewarded. It's been a long wait through. Based on the data we think the US Medical Economy, Hospitals, and HCA specifically, are crossing over from a 4 year post-COVID recovery back to trend, to a long period of above trend growth fueled by delayed and deferred medical care. |
