CHART OF THE DAY: Eurozone Industrial Production Slows Further

Below is a chart and brief excerpt from today's Early Look written by Director of Research Daryl Jones.
A quick update on key European data releases over the past 48 hours:
- September Germany Zew Economic Sentiment remained negative at -11.4;
- Spain and Portugal CPI both accelerated;
- July U.K. Construction Output and Industrial Production both decelerated;
- July U.K. GDP slowed to 0.0% from 0.9% in June; and
- Finally, Eurozone July Industrial Production slowed to -2.2%.
In a nutshell: economic data continues to slow in Europe, while inflation remains high and sticky.
