Friday at 10am we're going to dive in on the implication of a BBBY bankruptcy and liquidation. About $5bn in sales will potentially be up for grabs. We're going to look at store overlap and share potential for competitors by category. Before that share opportunity though, there's the risk for the home category with ~$2bn in inventory that could be rapidly liquidated as consumer demand is already slowing. We'll look at all the cross currents in the home space as one of the largest players goes away, and who the likely winners and losers will be, along with our latest thoughts on home tickers.
