In this clip from The Call @ Hedgeye, Gaming, Lodging and Leisure analysts Todd Jordan and Sean Jenkins discuss how the latest news regarding the U.S reopening international borders to Europe projects to be a major catalyst for leisure travel.

“For right now, the leisure customer in Europe and the U.S is just looking past these Covid cases and they’re still booking travel,” notes Jordan. “Some people are just sick of it. They need to get out and travel and they aren’t going to let [Covid] stop them.”

“You finally have U.S-cross border open to European travelers and they love coming to the U.S, particularly to the Sunbelt in the winter months. That’s a huge offset to potentially domestic travel in Europe being a little bit slower,” Jenkins elaborates.
