CALL TOMORROW @10am | Apple Antitrust Court Ruling: What Comes Next?

09/14/21 10:50AM EDT

The federal judge in the Apple-Epic Games litigation ruled for Apple on all federal antitrust issues, but determined Apple’s App Store anti-steering policies violated California’s Unfair Competition Law.  Apple has 90 days to implement the court’s order to enable links to in-app payment alternatives within all apps.  This remedy applies nationwide and encompasses all apps distributed in the App Store.

What are the next steps in the resolution of the case?  Can Apple avoid implementing the court’s 90-day mandate?  Can Apple navigate the legal and regulatory pressures forcing App Store policy changes?

Please join Paul Glenchur and JT Taylor as they discuss the next steps in the Apple litigation and the legal and regulatory fallout from Friday’s federal court ruling.
