We’re at our next iteration of our new ‘Retail Idea Hunt’ call series, which will take place the first week of every month in 2021.
Tomorrow, we’ll spend some time looking at the bullish environment for gross margin expansion as well as the transformation of the balance sheet for some companies post COVID. We'll also look at the rub between retailers' inability to chase inventory due to lack of product availability vs the GM increases we're seeing nearly across the board -- especially in Footwear and Apparel. Then we'll update how we're currently thinking about retail earnings season.
Tickers will include: CPRI, BKE, W, AAP, PLCE, VSCO, BBWI, UAA, NKE, ADS, DUFRY, and more.
All-in, we plan on hitting on 10+ tickers over 45 minutes max, focusing on the key critical modeling and sentiment uncertainties for each name.
