Hedgeye House Call - The Doctor is in
On Tuesday’s Hedgeye House Call, we will cover:
- EXAS – Recovery of Colonoscopy | Last week, we discussed a number of companies we believe are primed to benefit most from the re- opening of the US medical economy. This week, we will focus on one a name that will be disadvantaged by the return of in- person care. Leveraging a NEW dataset, we can see that colonoscopies are breaking out relative to 2019 and 2020 levels. Given the pent- up demand in the system, we surmise that there is approximately one year’s worth of volume to catch up on. On Tuesday, we will show this data and contextualize how Exact Sciences' Cologuard will be affected by this volume finally coming through.
- NTRA – NEW Signatera Data at ASCO | Next week, Natera is set to present new data behind the validity of Signatera outside of colorectal cancer. Although not a significant revenue contribution in our model, continued evidence (followed by utilization) of Signatera outside of colorectal cancer is a key catalyst. It is worth noting that Signatera is replacing entrenched and old standards of care. On this week’s call, we will lay out what we expect to hear at ASCO, as well as the several tailwinds which will drive estimates higher.
- Weekly MQ Update – Re-Opening | We have queued up a number of names to push across the line and highlighted another handful in our updated watchlist. These additions have been assisted by the MicroQuad screener’s signaling. On this week’s Hedgeye House call, we will update the underlying data and begin to discuss our plans for these names going forward.
